We are currently looking for a qualified

English-speaking early childhood education professional (d / f / m)

for a minimum of 30 hours per week on an open-ended contract

to help implement the Fröbel Focus “Bilingual Education” in the foundation stage at our education and care service Fröbelspatzen in Berlin-Friedrichshain (Germany).

The current team consists of 36 teachers and educators, two of whom are English-speaking, caring for 230 children aged 1 to 6 years. One focus area at the centre is the "Little Scientists" programme, emphasizing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills development. The centre is surrounded by a large garden for exploration. It is easily accessible by public transport and has an in-house kitchen preparing balanced, varied meals daily.

Your responsibilities would include :

• Supporting all aspects of early childhood education and care in English,
• Planning, implementing, and documenting pedagogical processes and routines as part of a team,
• Conducting (or supporting, based on experience and qualification) structured observation and documentation of children's development and educational progress,
• Developing effective cooperation with parents.
