What you'll be doing

The Developer Experience Team is part of the Core Group within our Product and Engineering Organization. Our mission is to provide tools, services, infrastructure, and knowledge to ensure a compelling internal product and engineering experience across Wolt.

Developer Experience (DX) encompasses the daily experience of all Wolt developers, supported by tools and processes that enable them to build great features efficiently. Our goal is to empower developers, foster innovation, and deliver value to over 40 engineering teams.

We are seeking a Team Lead passionate about creating exceptional developer experiences and maximizing development efficiency. You will lead a team of DevOps Engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development of innovative platform solutions. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a solid DevOps technical background, and a track record of improving developer efficiency in fast-growing organizations.

As a Team Lead, you will inspire, facilitate, and enable your team by managing weekly cycles, designing technical solutions, supporting personal development, hosting 1on1s, and participating in recruitment. You will oversee the development of our Build and Deploy Platform and communicate effectively with the broader Wolt Product team.

You are a unique blend of leadership and hands-on technical expertise.

• You have extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer, designing and implementing quality build and deploy pipelines, and abstracting infrastructure challenges for engineers.
• You are knowledgeable about cloud providers like AWS, automation tools such as Terraform, Argo suite, GitHub Actions, and Golang tools.
• You can foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and innovation within your team and the organization.
• You possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
• You are committed to personal development, hosting regular 1on1s, supporting team growth, and participating in recruitment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. You approach problems constructively and engage openly with your team and the broader Product team.
