Engineering Manager - Product Platform (f/m/d)*

YOUR MISSION:

Building a Product Platform is a transformative opportunity to revolutionize how Parloa innovates and scales. Serving as the backbone of technology, procedures, and modular components, it enables the seamless creation of interconnected products while unlocking faster time-to-market, reduced costs, enhanced scalability, and effortless integration into diverse ecosystems.

Our Product Platform is flexible and innovative, empowering teams to develop new solutions with reusable components and fostering collaboration through APIs, SDKs, and third-party integrations.

As an engineering manager, you’ll lead a team of software engineers in this dynamic space, building a scalable ecosystem that meets today’s needs and anticipates tomorrow’s challenges.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Bridge product needs with platform capabilities, facilitating the development and widespread use of platform solutions.
  • Build a high-performing team. Lead engineers, fostering their professional growth, conducting performance evaluations, and assisting them with career planning. Furthermore, be instrumental in sourcing and recruiting exceptional talent to join your team.
  • Drive the implementation of best-in-class engineering standards and leverage your deep expertise in Platform requirements and proven engineering practices.
  • Influence the Platform strategy to ensure long-term success and product dependability

Azure, TypeScript, SQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Auth0, and OpenAI.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • 4+ years of experience as an engineering and people manager
  • Experience in developer platforms and shared services (e.g., IAM, audit logging, and similar), distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, or ML platforms.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with sustaining strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including executives
  • Strong customer orientation - experience with building customer-facing products
  • Track record of leading teams to build highly scalable and compliant platform solutions with a focus on software quality and observability
