Since conducting the first crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter in 2011, we have completed over 2,000 public and private test flights across the globe.

Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

• Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality deliveries of the team
• Manage team resources, including personnel and budget responsibilities
• Provide disciplinary leadership, including resourcing, development, performance management, recognition, and rewards
• Offer day-to-day guidance, coaching, and feedback to the team
• Maintain high clarity and team spirit
• Plan and manage team capacity according to project needs
• Collaborate with other Team Leads and Department Heads for optimal results
• Identify opportunities to improve the flight test process
• Ensure team compliance with FTOM processes and procedures

Qualifications

Professional skills required:

Experience in Flight Testing is essential for this role!

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent in aeronautical engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Crewed Flight Testing (excluding UAVs)
• EASA Category 1 FTE Certification or equivalent (must have)
• Experience in aeronautical development and certification processes
• Professional experience with OEMs, MROs, Military Aviation, or Flight Test Organizations
• Proven leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Rotary wing experience
