Responsibilities

Peec AI is an analytics platform for AI search. It helps marketing, SEO, and growth teams measure brand visibility across AI platforms, compare their brands with competitors, and identify opportunities to improve visibility. The company is a Series A startup backed by 20VC and Singular, with a team of over 100 people across Berlin and New York.

Задачи

• Build, mentor, and lead a data science team, communicating complex technical ideas to executives, customers, and partners
• Design, train, deploy, and own the models powering AI Search recommendations
• Develop and ship algorithms that reverse-engineer AI search and LLM behavior and create customer-facing product advantages
• Own the full ML lifecycle, from research and experimentation through production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Architect and evolve scalable data and ML systems, making decisions across data pipelines, modeling approaches, evaluation frameworks, and model serving
• Write and review production-grade code, setting the technical bar for the organization

Требования

• 8+ Years of professional data science experience
• At least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role at a top-tier high-growth startup or FAANG-level tech company, such as Tech Lead, EM, or SDM
• Experience building and shipping category-defining ML products in high-growth or frontier environments
• Demonstrated experience personally owning and scaling complex ML systems from research ideas to reliable, high-impact production deployments
• Exceptional command of Python and applied machine learning, with systems-level understanding of APIs, data pipelines, ML infrastructure, and production reliability
• Deep understanding of LLMs and AI search systems, including evaluating, reverse-engineering, and reasoning about emergent model behavior
• Experience making consequential architectural and modeling decisions in cloud-native environments; GCP is preferred
• Strong judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the credibility to set direction and lead through ambiguity
