Engineering Manager - Client Lifecycle (m/f/x) – on-site or remote in Germany. Responsibilities
  • Lead the Client Technology tribe to simplify client experiences and continuously improve interactions across all touchpoints, including client mailbox platforms.
  • Build, empower, and manage a team of engineers; support their career development and foster a performant, agile, self‑organizing team.
  • Provide technical leadership, share best practices, and ensure high-quality engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to build and integrate new features.
  • Define and track OKRs with your team and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Prioritize work, organize delivery, and drive achievement of business objectives with Product.
  • Participate in recruitment to attract new team members.
Qualifications
  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, sciences) or comparable qualification.
  • Strong passion for people development and proven experience as an Engineering Manager.
  • Extensive experience as a developer (Java, Kotlin, TypeScript) in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product domains.
  • Experience with complex software projects and end-to-end ownership, building microservices.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design.
  • Commitment to well-architected, testable, documented code and an agile mindset.
  • Excellent, clear, audience-targeted communication across engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
  • Background in financial services is a strong plus.
