Engineering Manager

Full-time, Office in Hamburg, Germany

As part of our team at 3S Lift in Europe, you will work closely with the headquarters team to enhance customer satisfaction and elevate the 3S brand image by providing technical support across three key areas: Pre-sales support, Product qualification to OEMs, and after-sales service.

Your tasks will be diverse and include:
Pre-sales Support:
1. Visit customers to present products and conduct technical discussions as needed.
2. Collect customers’ product feedback and communicate these insights to the headquarters technical team for further improvements.
3. Promptly inform customers of product optimizations and changes to enhance customer satisfaction, ensuring they fully understand and can apply the updates.
4. Research and understand customers’ needs to foster opportunities for new product collaborations.

Product Qualification to OEMs:
1. Develop product qualification plans in collaboration with the headquarters and customers, ensuring alignment.
2. Lead and organize qualification meetings with customers, following the qualification procedures.
3. Manage the qualification progress, and communicate promptly with customers for any deviations in the timeline.

After-sales service:
1. Provide technical support for qualification prototype and batch order installation.
2. Handle on-site quality issues and support the operation team for troubleshooting.
3. Communication between local customers and the headquarters team for resolving
customer complaints.

Experience requirements:
3+ years of relevant working experience.
Working experience in the wind industry is a plus.

Pragmatic with a hands-on mentality
Structured and diligent work approach
Openness to give and receive feedback
Passionate

Skills:
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required; German or Spanish is a Plus.
Skilled in mechanical design software.
Analytical thinking & communication skills are required.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.

What else?
Up to 20% of travel is expected.
A valid work permit for the EU is required.
