Department and Location

The Engineering department at the headquarters near Würzburg is responsible for planning and constructing plants at global locations. As part of our growth, we are looking for a communicative, technically skilled, interculturally experienced, and hands-on professional.

Position: Engineer / Technician (m/f/d) TIA Programming & Commissioning - Building Materials Equipment
Responsibilities
  1. Implement conceptualization, project planning, programming, and visualization of control technology for high-performance plants and machinery in international greenfield and brownfield projects.
  2. Execute software implementations in SPS and SCADA programs (S7 TIA Portal, WinCC Unified) during on-site commissioning.
  3. Maintain contacts with component suppliers, construction management, and technicians.
  4. Coordinate with internal interfaces in electrical engineering, mechanics, and process engineering.
  5. Travel globally approximately 40-45%, with temporary absences of up to three months.
Team and Collaboration

You will be part of a team dedicated to process development, commissioning, and factory deployment.

Candidate Profile
  • Degree in automation, electrical engineering, or computer science, or alternatively a master or technician qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar tasks and comprehensive SPS knowledge (TIA Portal).
  • Proficiency in programming Siemens S7, knowledge of SCADA software, and ability to read flowcharts and wiring diagrams.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Engaged, responsible, structured, and able to organize independently on construction sites.
  • Physically resilient, team-oriented, globally travel-ready, and flexible for multi-week international assignments.
