Zusammenfassung

Messer SE & Co. KGaA in Germany is seeking an Engineer Static Equipment for our Corporate Engineering team.

You will plan projects, perform price comparisons, execute projects, and commission for pressure vessels, columns, and related equipment in line with AD2000/EN13445. You should have a bachelor in mechanical/process engineering or certified industrial foreman/technician, 3+ years of experience in piping or plant construction, and knowledge of ASME/API; English good, German a plus;

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/technical degree in relevant field and professional welding/pressure-system training.
• 3+ years of experience in piping, plant construction or gas generation plants.
• Knowledge of AD2000, EN13445; ASME/API familiarity is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Project planning, technical price comparisons, execution and commissioning of static equipment.
• Maintain costs, quality, and schedules for vessels, columns and related equipment.
• Develop standards for ASU/CO plants, participate in HAZOP meetings, and support cryogenic equipment work.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for project planning, technical price comparisons, project execution, and commissioning for the following equipment:

1. Pressure vessels, gas buffer tanks in accordance with AD2000 and EN13445

2. Columns

3. Pressure vessels subject to alternating pressure loads in accordance with AD2000 Information Sheet S

• Knowledge of European regulations, ASME, and API is desirable

• Responsible for tracking costs, quality, and schedules for the scope of vessels to be processed

• Development of standards for ASU/CO plants and generators

• Active participation in HAZOP meetings

• Budget calculations for the above-mentioned equipment and technical evaluations

• Support in other areas such as cooling water or cryogenic equipment

Your profile:

• Training as a certified industrial foreman or technician specializing in metalworking or a bachelor’ s degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering

• At least 3 years of professional experience

• Several years of experience in piping and plant construction or in the maintenance and repair of gas generation plants; certification as a welding specialist or welding engineer (IWS) is desirable

• Continuing education to become a qualified person for pressure systems

• Good verbal and written English skills, German is a plus

• Ability to work in a team, initiative, and assertiveness

• Knowledge in the areas of adsorption, drying, and PSA systems is desirable
