We are looking for an Engineer (m/w/d) CFD Simulation specializing in CFD simulations to support vehicle development projects.

Job description / Tasks:

1. Conduct 3D-CFD simulations, including ICE, in-cylinder, and air path-flow simulation.
2. Perform electronic components flow simulation.
3. Handle CHT, Cooling, and Thermal Management at the component level.
4. Carry out 1D-CFD simulations, including thermal and cooling system simulation for BEV and ICE vehicles.
5. Develop ICE 1D-CFD performance models.

The successful candidate will:

1. Hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
2. Have significant experience in CFD simulation within a professional environment in vehicle development.
3. Be proficient in Star CCM+, CONVERGE, and GTPower.
4. Have knowledge and experience with future energy carriers such as e-fuels and hydrogen.
5. Possess a good working knowledge of Catia V5, Cantera, and Python (advantageous).
6. Be able to speak and write professional English.
7. Show interest in working in an international team and demonstrate intercultural competence, with an affinity for Japanese culture.
8. Be a true team player, accustomed to working in a structured, thorough, and self-organized manner.
