M&E Global is a defence contractor undertaking services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

The Role
Based in Dulmen, Germany you’ll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a US Military base.

Prior Plant maintenance experience will be required, although additional training will be provided on site.

This role is a fantastic chance for you to further develop your skills as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, working on a diverse range of military vehicles in an exciting environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnoses system malfunctions, isolate causes, and correct deficiencies for the following types of military engineer equipment: bulldozers, graders, forklifts, cranes, and Rough Terrain Container Handlers (RTCH).
• Dismantles and reassembles equipment, using Technical Manuals (TM).
• Inspects, repairs, and replaces components, engines, transmissions, and sub-assemblies.
• Identifies parts in repair manuals and places order request for needed parts.
• Performs annual service on equipment fleet.
• Performs a full range of overhaul, repair, and service on all engineer equipment maintenance at the Field and Sustainment level of Maintenance.
• Performs maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on various pieces of engineer equipment including but not limited to military and civilian engineer equipment.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
• Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.
