Description:
The Electrical / Controls Technician is part of the Engineering Resources Team for the Flush Door Division of VT Industries. The primary responsibilities focus on the Holstein Site, with project or resource support for other facilities as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build, modify, or develop controls, integration, and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
- Provide schematics and documentation of electrical control systems using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Utilize electrical schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Participate in daily production team meetings.
- Discuss machine operation variations with managers or maintenance team members to diagnose problems or perform repairs.
- Read shop orders and maintain records of completed orders.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Operate a forklift and maintain a forklift license.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation; complete 5S checklist.
- Work individually or with team members as assigned, fostering a positive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Control or a related field; 4 years of equivalent work experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements:
