For the position of Engineer for Cabin Layout & Configuration at our customer Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, we are looking for someone who quickly recognizesand analyses technical contexts, works independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner. With good communication skills, you will master co-operation at all levels. This position offers you the opportunity to contribute your expertise in the optimizationof cabin configurations in the aviation industry.
The gross annual salary is between €82,500 and max. €85,400, depending on qualifications, and the position is initially limited until November 2026. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Tasks
- Carrying out layout checks according to configuration rules and creating the final layout check for the A320 family
- Support in the maintenance of cabin configuration rules for allprograms
- Planning and coordination of delivery services and work packages of external suppliers
- Supervision and monitoring of international subcontractors and partners
- Responsibility for the technical approval of layout checks and layout TRS (Technical Repercussion Sheet)
- Optimizationand automation of workflows and processes
- Ensuring airworthiness approval through precise layout checks
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process quality and adherence to timelines
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering or a technical degree (at least technician or business administrator)
- Several years of professional experience in change management, configuration management and engineering
- Good knowledge of project management
- Expertise in process improvements and customizationin the area of cabin development as well as cabin-specific experience desirable
- Initial user knowledge with Click'n Buy (BySide), ICC, Catia V5, CCD, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy and vpm
- Very good knowledge of English (at least C1) and German at basic level
- Unrestricted work permit for the EU available
