1. Growing E.ON’s sourcing activities through complex physical or financial commodity transactions, including renewable power purchase agreements, flexibility products, weather derivatives, etc.
2. Identifying and structuring commercial opportunities across energy markets (electricity, gas, certificates, cross-commodities).
3. Developing business opportunities in collaboration with other E.ON units and coordinating across functions for business readiness.
4. Implementing hedging and risk mitigation strategies for origination transactions.
5. Working closely with portfolio management and front office teams to optimize portfolio value.
6. Engaging with internal stakeholders (Risk, Portfolio Strategy, Legal, Finance) for transaction structuring and approval.
7. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders such as counterparties and industry associations.

Your profile should include:

• A university degree in economics, econometrics, finance, physics, or engineering.
• Strong technical, quantitative, and option pricing skills.
• Experience developing pricing tools for physical energy assets.
• A proven track record in complex commodity transactions and PnL contribution.
• Deep understanding of European energy markets, risk management, and asset valuation.
• Knowledge of master trade agreements like EFET and ISDA.
• Persistence, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
