Job Description

Safran Engineering Services offers high-technology engineering services in aerospace, energy, and ground transportation. The team in Airbus Hamburg performs maintenance tasks to ensure engine and aircraft delivery according to Airbus schedules, complying with current regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Follow work documentation (Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletin Application, Internal Work Instruction).
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks (e.g., replacement of Line Replaceable Units, parts, engine boroscopy, inspection, troubleshooting).
• Complete standard tasks adhering to safety rules (wear protective gear, perform 5S inspections).
• Record all interventions in information systems (CFM & Airbus Systems).
• Contribute to product and service improvement by identifying risks, deviations, and proposing corrective actions.

Organization:

• Report to the Mechanical and Logistical Operations Manager.
• Work in shifts with potential on-call during weekends (voluntary basis).
• Collaborate within a mechanics team and coordinate with other departments (logistics, quality, engineering, safety).

Job Requirements

Knowledge/Skills:

• Solid mechanics and engine functioning knowledge, with expertise in engine assembly and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of PART 21G, PART 66, or PART 145 is recommended.
• Experience in jet engine or aircraft manufacturing is an asset.
• Knowledge of borescope devices and Airbus tools (TLB, NC, Intervention Card) is advantageous.
• Technical English proficiency is mandatory; French or German skills are a plus.
