Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Maintain BYD Energy Storage Systems to high standards through annual PPM checks, capacity tests, and reactive works.
• Work safely at all times.
• Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers.
• Complete administrative duties such as timesheets, vehicle checks, and daily job logs.
• Troubleshoot equipment at customer sites.
• Perform start-up and commissioning services (SAT) at customer locations.
• Assist in product development and project work with the engineering team.
• Suggest improvements based on field experience.
• Provide customer training at BYD and customer facilities if required.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the power industry or with high/low voltage systems, preferably with energy storage experience.
• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance, especially energy storage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and energy storage principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills, ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
