Job summary

REDEN, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking an Energie Storage Project Engineer to design and deliver battery storage solutions in Wiesbaden. You will join a fast-growing team delivering technically rigorous projects in a European context.

You bring an electrical engineering background with 5+ years in renewables and BESS experience, and you are fluent in German and English. This permanent role offers flat hierarchies, a collaborative culture and the chance to contribute to the energy

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical engineering or Renewable Energy with at least 5 years in renewable energy projects and BESS experience.
• Strong expertise in electrical and energy engineering.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Design battery storage solutions for standalone or co-located projects.
• Prepare technical documentation meeting regulatory, cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
• Support the project development team with technical offers and tenders.
• Prepare documentation for public and private tenders.
• Ensure technical consistency throughout the project development process.
• Develop methods and KPIs and disseminate knowledge within the department.

Energie Storage Project Engineer (W/M)

Permanent contract

Wiesbaden (Germany)

Your main tasks will be :

TO DESIGN BATTERY STORAGE SOLUTIONS

• Conduct technical studies for battery storage projects (standalone or co-located) from the prospecting phase through to RTB, contributing to final investment decisions.
• Deliver technical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and cost/quality/timeline requirements.

TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT TEAM

• Contribute to commercial proposals by creating a technical offer catalog and adapting it to project needs and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing documentation for public and private tenders.
• Ensure technical consistency throughout the project development process.

TO DEVELOP TECHNICAL EXPERTISE AND ECOSYSTEM

• Build methods and performance indicators for technical deliverables within and outside the department, ensuring knowledge dissemination.
• Optimize technical solutions through supplier consultations and system design to improve project feasibility and economic performance.
• Conduct regular market research on innovative solutions, qualify them, and integrate them into projects

TO MANAGE STAKEHOLDERS

• Act as an interface with external partners and internal support functions
• Prepare necessary documentation for stakeholders

Expected skills :

Educational Background:

You hold an engineering degree in Electrical engineering or Renewable Energy and you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in renewable energy projects and at least one relevant experience in BESS project with strong expertise in electrical and energy engineering.

Technical Proficiency :

You are highly skilled with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and proficient with Electrical/Energy Design Tools. You demonstrate Strong analytical kills.

You are fluent in both German and English.
