Permacon GmbH in Düsseldorf is seeking an Energy Operations Analyst (m/f/d) to support complex power transactions in the German and UK markets. The role is offered as a temporary employment with an attractive annual gross salary and benefits.

You will join an international energy company and handle settlement, PPAs, and back-office activities, collaborating across teams and markets. English fluency is required; German skills are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Education in business administration, economics, banking or similar background.
• Experience in the energy industry—particularly settlement and with PPAs in the energy industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English; good German skills are a plus.
• Desirable experience using SAP and Endur, as well as Microsoft Office, reporting, automation or data tools.
• Strong settlement experience gained in Trading Operations, Back Office, commodity operations or a comparable operational environment.
• Essential knowledge of German and UK power markets, with an understanding of the operational lifecycle of structured energy contracts.
• Strong analytical skills, clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Aufgaben

• Supporting the operational delivery of complex power transactions across the German and UK markets.
• Carry out Back Office activities for complex power contracts, including PPAs, BESS transactions and associated ancillary services.
• Prepare, check and process complex settlements and invoices.
• Perform deal verification, trade validation, data quality checks, contract interpretation support and operational set-up.
• Investigate and resolve settlement queries, payment discrepancies, volume or price mismatches, process exceptions and operational incidents.
• Maintain strong controls, evidence, documentation and KPI tracking.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes as PPA and BESS volumes continue to grow.
