Die Jobactive GmbH vermittelt für einen etablierten Energiekonzern in Düsseldorf die Position des Trading Operations Analyst (m/w/d). Gesucht wird eine erfahrene Fachkraft für Back-Office-Prozesse rund um strukturierte Stromverträge, PPAs und Marktdienstleistungen.

Die Stelle bietet ein hybrides Arbeitsmodell mit bis zu drei Tagen Home-Office pro Woche, ein Jahresbrutto-Gehalt bis 70.000 Euro sowie eine umfassende Begleitung durch den Auswahlprozess.

Qualifikationen

• Erfahrung im Trading Operations, Back Office oder vergleichbaren Bereichen mit Fokus auf Abwicklung, Fakturierung, Abstimmung und Problemlösungen.
• Gute Kenntnisse der deutschen und britischen Energiemärkte und deren operative Abläufe.
• Erfahrung mit strukturierten Energielieferverträgen, idealerweise PPAs, BESS-Transaktionen und Zusatzleistungen.
• Verständnis, vertragliche Anforderungen in operative Prozesse umzusetzen.
• Starke analytische Fähigkeiten, hohe Detailgenauigkeit und Termintreue.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Fähigkeiten in einem internationalen Umfeld.
• Fließendes Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

• Back-Office-Prozesse für strukturierte Stromverträge inkl. PPAs, BESS-Vereinbarungen und angrenzender Marktaktivitäten steuern.
• Komplexe Abrechnungen und Rechnungen berechnen, validieren und bearbeiten; korrekte, zeitnahe Zahlungen sicherstellen.
• Abgleich von Handelsdaten, Transaktionsvalidierung, Datenqualität überwachen und operative Umsetzung vertraglicher Vereinbarungen unterstützen.
• Abrechnungs- und Zahlungsanfragen, Preis- oder Volumenabweichungen sowie weitere operative Ausnahmen analysieren und lösen.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Trading, Origination, Risk, Credit, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal und IT für effiziente Ablieferung und Compliance.
• Umfassende Dokumentation, Kontrollen und Leistungsnachverfolgung zur Unterstützung von Governance, Audits und Transparenz.
• Prozessverbesserungen identifizieren und Standardisierung, Optimierung sowie Automatisierung von Arbeitsabläufen vorantreiben.
• Systemverbesserungen, neue Produktstarts und Transformationsinitiativen durch Tests unterstützen.

For our client, a well-established and publicly listed energy company, we are currently seeking aTrading Operations Analyst (m/f/d)to join their team in Düsseldorf.

Important Information:

• Annual gross salary up to €70.000 depending on qualifications and professional experience
• Hybrid working model with the possibility to work from home up to 3 days per week
• Dedicated support and comprehensive preparation throughout the entire interview process

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute back-office processes for structured power contracts, including PPAs, BESS agreements, and ancillary market activities
• Calculate, validate, and process complex settlements and invoices while ensuring accurate and timely payment execution with counterparties, transmission system operators, and internal stakeholders
• Verify trade data, perform transaction validation, monitor data quality, and support the operational implementation of contractual agreements within relevant systems
• Analyze and resolve settlement-related inquiries, payment discrepancies, pricing or volume variances, and other operational exceptions
• Collaborate closely with Trading, Origination, Risk, Credit, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal, and IT teams to ensure efficient operational delivery and compliance with contractual obligations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, controls, and performance tracking to support governance requirements, audits, and operational transparency
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the standardization, optimization, and automation of operational workflows
• Support system enhancements, new product launches, and transformation initiatives through testing activities and end-to-end operational expertise

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in Trading Operations, Back Office, Commodity Operations, or a similar environment with a strong focus on settlements, invoicing, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Sound understanding of the German and UK power markets and their operational processes
• Experience handling structured energy contracts, ideally including exposure to PPAs, BESS transactions, and ancillary services
• Ability to interpret commercial agreements and translate contractual requirements into practical operational processes and controls
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data and high-value transactions under tight deadlines
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with trading desks and cross-functional teams in an international setting
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
• German language skills are considered an advantage
• Experience with SAP, Endur, Microsoft Office applications, reporting tools, automation solutions, or data analysis platforms is beneficial
