We are looking for an Energy Flexibility & Market Innovation Lead (f/m/d) for our team in the global flexibility services organization, as soon as possible.

Flexibility is a gamechanger in the energy market, but only if we seamlessly integrate it into customer offerings, trading strategies, and digital platforms. That's where you come in. We don't just analyze market potential; we build real products and platforms that turn flexibility into value.

Our regional teams in Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands are responsible for developing these offers. Your mission: connect development activities with flexibility potentials in various markets, from developing customer offers to building the flexibility platform and energy market functions, to trading processes. Support these teams to move faster, build better solutions, and stay ahead of the market.

We're looking for someone fluent in energy trading, product development, and technology, who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo, rethink processes, and bring market-ready solutions to life quickly.

Your role

• Enable our regional teams to turn flexibility into scalable, customer-focused energy solutions.
• Integrate trading and portfolio expertise into product development from day one.
• Support the development of flexibility platforms, ensuring seamless connection with markets and customer offerings.
• Prioritize based on impact—identify where the biggest value lies, what needs to be built first. Bring structure to complexity.
• Drive speed through agile methods, lean startup principles, rapid iteration, and market testing—avoid endless concept papers, prototyping, and delays.
• Bridge the gap between tech, trading, and business; speak all their languages and connect silos.

Who we're looking for

• Deep expertise in energy trading, portfolio management, and flexibility markets; understanding how value is created and maximized.
• Experience developing energy products such as Energy-as-a-Service, Demand Side Management, Virtual Power Plants, or similar.
• Ability to connect market mechanisms with technology and customer propositions; see the big picture.
• Proven experience working with decentralized international teams; a strong enabler, not a central decision-maker.
• Hands-on, data-driven mindset; thrive on tackling complex market challenges and turning them into concrete solutions.
• Entrepreneurial drive; create change, not just adapt to it.
• Strong communication and influencing skills; align teams across disciplines and markets.
