Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik oder vergleichbare Ausbildung.
• Umfassende Kenntnisse in der Administration von Virtualisierungssystemen.
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse und Grundkenntnisse in Englisch erforderlich.

Aufgaben

• Umfassende Administration der virtuellen Desktop- und Serversysteme.
• Entwicklung von Lösungen zur vollständigen Bereitstellung komplexer Umgebungen.

Employee Server Support VDI (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Holistic administration of the virtual desktop and server systems for the institutions and ICT East and their proactive monitoring
• Forward-looking planning and implementation of upgrades and updates to the system and server environment
• Creation, maintenance and support of the authorization structure
• Development of solutions to ensure full provisioning of complex environments
• Preparatory measures for an audit
• Processing of incidents and service requests
• Development and operation of continuous technical documentation
• Advising specialists and managers as a technical contact person f/m/d
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, IT-technical vocational training, e.g. IT specialist, IT commercial vocational training, e.g. IT systems clerk, possibly administrative training with a high affinity for IT (AL/BL II, cf. g. D.)
• Knowledge of Active Directory conception and its implementation
• Comprehensive knowledge of the administration of virtualization systems (CITRIX, VMWare)
• Comprehensive knowledge of network administration (LANs, WANs, VLANs, IEEE802.1x, etc.)
• Analytical knowledge for the development of sustainable solutions
• Implementation consistency and initiative
• Ability to work in a team paired with an independent way of working
• Fluent written and spoken German and basic English skills
• Experienced in dealing with customers and external service providers
• Class B driving license required

If the relevant formal qualifications are met, the position can be graded up to EG 10 in accordance with the TVöD VKA pay scale.
