Employee (m/f/d) in the IT security team

ivl is the IT service provider for the city of Leverkusen and Energieversorgung Leverkusen and the central point of contact when it comes to the use of information technology in the city of Leverkusen's group of companies. We see ourselves as a full-service IT provider and offer a very broad and innovative range of services with highly secure data centers, software areas and customer-oriented support. Every day, our approximately 100 employees ensure the IT and digitalization of public administration, energy supply and many other public companies and schools in Leverkusen.

Your tasks:

• IT security: creating security concepts and planning their implementation; advising our administrators and project managers on IT projects; monitoring CERT notifications and coordinating incident response measures
• Information security: further development of our ISMS based on ISO 27001; creation of guidelines; participation in certification audits; conducting security assessments; initiation and implementation of awareness measures
• BCM: further development of our emergency management; creation of recovery plans; development and implementation of emergency drills

Your profile:

• Education: successfully completed studies in information security; alternatively a degree or training in an IT field and proven knowledge and professional experience in information security
• Specialist knowledge: Basic knowledge of ISO 27001 and BSI baseline protection standards; keen interest in modern IT in a data center and in technical implementations of IT security as well as a willingness to undergo further training; experience in creating guidelines and documentation
• Analytical skills: good understanding of IT structures and complex processes; awareness of identifying and assessing risks and appropriate measures
• Teamwork and solution orientation: independent work in a team; solution-oriented advancement of topics and projects
• Communication: the ability to present work results to different audiences in an understandable way and to communicate with other people on an equal footing
