Would you like to put your experience in the IT sector to good use and contribute to the development of the Pestalozzi Children's and Youth Village? As an IT employee, you are at the heart of our technological infrastructure. You ensure that our internal systems run smoothly, that our employees can work efficiently and that our data is secure. You are the first point of contact for technical challenges and make a significant contribution to the stability and further development of our IT landscape.

With more than 75 years of experience in child and youth welfare as well as nine agricultural and craft businesses, the Pestalozzi Children\\'s and Youth Village near Lake Constance offers a broad field for commitment and further development. Around 550 employees enrich the village with a wide range of experience, creativity and innovative spirit and form a diverse community.

To expand the IT team, we are looking for the next possible date, limited until summer 2027, for a

Responsibilities

• 1st & 2nd level support: You are the central point of contact for our employees for hardware, software and network problems and solve them independently or as part of a team
• System administration: You administer, maintain and monitor our server (e.g. Windows Server) and client (Windows) systems
• Network management: You configure and maintain the active network components (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN) in cooperation with external service providers
• User and access management: You are responsible for creating, managing and deactivating user accounts and access rights (e.g. in Active Directory)
• Documentation and asset management: You create and reliably maintain IT documentation (manuals, processes, inventory lists) and manage IT assets
• Data security and backup: monitoring backup routines and ensuring compliance with our security guidelines
• Project collaboration: Active support in the planning and implementation of IT projects, e.g. system upgrades or the introduction of new software

Profile / Qualifications

• Education: You have successfully completed training in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for system integration), a degree or many years of experience as an IT network or system administrator
• Operating systems: You have sound knowledge in the administration of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems. Initial experience with Linux is an advantage
• Network: You have a good understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and firewalls
• Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies is an advantage
• Support: You already have experience in dealing with ticket systems and remote support tools
• Service orientation: A high degree of customer and service orientation as well as strong communication skills complete your profile
• Problem solving: You have an analytical mindset and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a team: It is important to us that you also have team spirit, reliability and a willingness to share knowledge
• Languages: Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
