Service Director, EMEA

We are seeking a leader skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels and across functions, coaching, negotiating, resolving conflicts, team building, and more.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The LMS EMEA Service Director manages all LMS Field Operations related to Service, including but not limited to, profitable growth of service revenue, installation of new and demonstration equipment in EMEA, service contract field repairs/refurbishment within service level agreements, demand service, and warranty repairs.

Manage and oversee an organization with 120 staff, including Field Service Managers, Field Service Engineers, Customer Service Delivery, and a Service Contract Sales team to ensure satisfactory performance, business objectives, revenue, and profit targets.

Actively pursue customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and high-quality service support, incorporating Danaher Business Systems Tools into daily work.

Maintain knowledge of contractual obligations of Leica to Customers, Dealers, and Third-Party service organizations within the area to fulfill contractual obligations.

Own and optimize the regional Service P&L and achieve financial objectives to generate above-market economic growth.

Recommend purchases and manage inventory, supplies, etc., to meet contractual commitments and customer expectations.

Establish close relationships with Sales Management to foster teamwork and capitalize on sales opportunities. Collaborate with Business Unit Management to address escalated issues and represent the company professionally.

YOUR PROFILE

You have completed an undergraduate degree; a Master’s degree is a plus.

You have at least 10 years of experience working for a global organization.

You have successfully managed and developed customer-facing organizations.

Previous experience managing a field service organization and customer relationships is strongly preferred.

You are fluent in English and preferably in German.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% within EMEA.
