T&S (Technology & Strategy) in Lindenberg im Allgäu invites an Embedded Software Verification Engineer (m/f/d) to join our aviation team. You will work on verifying embedded software for aerospace applications, including requirement definition, test system development, and verification evidence creation.

You will leverage DO-178C knowledge and strong C/Python skills, collaborates with international teams, and communicate fluently in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in CS, EE, or electronics or comparable qualification.
• Experience in development and/or verification of software per defined processes and standards.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards, particularly DO-178C.
• Fluent German and English for internal and external communication.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional verification of embedded software for aerospace applications through testing and analysis
• Define test requirements as well as specify and further develop test systems and test equipment

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the development and/or verification of software in accordance with defined processes, standards, and regulations
• Knowledge of relevant aerospace standards, particularly DO-178C
• Strong programming skills in C, Python, and ideally Assembly
• ISTQB certification is an advantage
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential for internal and external communication

The annual salary for this position depends on relevant professional experience and is based on an IG Metall collective agreement framework.
