Zusammenfassung

Isar Aerospace SE seeks an Embedded Software Engineer for the Flight Software Testing team to ensure reliability and performance of our flight software powering the spectrum launch vehicle. You will automate, improve and maintain testing pipelines and infrastructure.

Key work includes building test infrastructure, developing supporting tools, and driving bug resolution, while providing live support during launches and campaigns. English fluency required and aerospace experience a plus.

Qualifikationen

• BSc/MSc in EE, CS, or embedded systems.
• Experience in Python and C/C++ development.
• Experience with real-time systems and Linux.
• Git proficiency and debugging skills.
• Data analysis and visualization capabilities.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Linux environments.
• Fluent in English.

Mission Brief

As an Embedded Software Engineer in the Flight Software Testing team, your mission is to ensure the reliability and performance of the software that powers our spectrum launch vehicle. By leveraging your skills, you work with the rest of the team to automate, improve and maintain the flight software testing infrastructure and pipelines.

Your Role in Our Space Mission

• Work to implement and automate software tests, data analysis and verification/validation.
• Work to build and maintain test infrastructure such as HIL setups.
• Develop tools to support our flight software development and testing.
• Recognize bugs and drive the effort to resolve them.
• Help track the performance of our software in the field (e.g. during launch and test campaigns) and be able to provide live support and expertise.

Qualification Checklist

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or comparable
• Experience developing with Python, C/C++
• Experience working with Real-time systems
• Proficient with Git
