Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to join on-site teams in Germany. Opportunities exist in Manching, Taufkirchen, and Donauwörth. Roles involve designing and developing embedded software in C/C++ for safety-critical applications.

Required is a degree in electronics/related field, hands-on embedded experience, and C1 English; German C1 is a plus. Citizens of European countries are required. On-site contracts offer relocation support and training.

• Hands-on embedded C/C++ development experience.

Responsabilités

The positions are on-site in Germany, with opportunities available in Manching, Taufkirchen and Donauwörth.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop embedded software in C/C++
• Perform software debugging, analysis, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to technical reviews, requirements definition, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Electronics, Verification, and Safety teams.
• Ensure compliance with Defense-related standards (e.g., DO-178C, MISRA, AQAP).

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, Industrial, or similar.
• Relevant hands-on experience in embedded software in C/C++
• C1 English Level - mandatory.
• German C1 (will be a plus)
• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
