Embedded Software Development Engineer (m / f)

Embedded Software Development Engineer (m / f)

Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities would include :

1. Development of real-time software for electronics systems according to agreed timeline, respecting required quality and performance levels
2. Support component level software requirements analysis
3. Elaborate appropriate software architectures
4. Design software on component level
5. Code and test of software components
6. Participate in review of use cases, software requirements, and software architecture
7. Organize and participate in reviews of software design, code, and tests
8. Handle configuration management, problem resolution for allocated components, quality audits
9. Support software process improvements
10. Support software coordinators and team leader to plan and execute software projects

You would need to meet the following requirements :

1. Academic degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
2. Working experience in C as an embedded programming language
3. Working experience with :
4. Object Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
5. Embedded software architecture
6. Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
7. Requirement managing tools
8. Knowledge of
9. Automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
10. Functional safety standards like ISO 26262
11. Cyber security standards like ISO / SAE 21434
12. IBM Rhapsody tool chain or similar
13. Excellent communication, analytical, and team working skills
14. Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
