Embedded Software Development Engineer (m / f)

Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities would include :

  • Development of real time software for electronics systems including algorithm / pre-processing concepts and solutions according to agreed timeline, respecting required quality and performance levels
  • Modelling and simulating algorithm behavior
  • Support component level software requirements analysis
  • Elaborate appropriate software architectures
  • Design software on component level
  • Code and test of software components
  • Participate in review of use cases, software requirements and software architecture
  • Organize and participate in reviews of software design, code and tests
  • Handle configuration management, problem resolution for allocated components, quality audits
  • Support software process improvements
  • Support software coordinators and team leader to plan and execute software projects

You would need to meet the following requirements :

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Working experience with :
  • C / C++
  • MATLAB / Simulink
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Software architecture
  • Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
  • Requirement managing tools
  • Knowledge of
  • Automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
  • Functional safety standards like ISO 26262
  • Cyber security standards like ISO / SAE 21434
  • Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
