Ekkiden is looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Software Developer to join their R&D Camera team. This role entails developing embedded software and working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance camera performance and image quality. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, have strong experience in C/C++ and embedded systems, and be capable of tackling technical challenges innovatively. About the job :
Responsibilities:
Develop embedded Linux software using C/C++ to control FPGA imaging pipelines.
Design and implement unit and module tests to enhance camera quality.
Maintain and further develop test software used for FPGA verification.
Document the developed software components.
Collaborate closely with colleagues from software, hardware, testing, and image science departments
What we are looking for:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Professional experience with (Embedded) Linux systems (x86 or ARM), using C/C++.
Proficient in debugging embedded systems and working with interfaces such as Ethernet and PCIe.
Experience with scripting languages like Python is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and a structured problem-solving approach.
Experience in the broadcast/media industry or real-time image processing is advantageous.
A creative and enthusiastic approach to technical challenges.
Team player with the ability to work in interdisciplinary environments.
Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
