Job Opportunity at Aptiv: AI Perception Systems Developer

Aptiv, one of the largest automotive suppliers and a pioneer in autonomous driving technology, is seeking talented individuals to join our innovative team. Your Responsibilities:

1. Develop perception systems focused on artificial intelligence (AI).
2. Define interfaces, implement algorithms efficiently, and conduct testing.
3. Benchmark and develop prototypes for proof of concept phases.
4. Create and utilize tools and methods to support related activities.
5. Assist in hardware selection processes and become an internal expert on AI System on Chips (SoCs).
6. Communicate effectively with algorithm specialists and system developers across disciplines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in embedded AI software development.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++, including compiler and debugging techniques.
• Experience with code optimization, memory dependencies, fixed-point implementation, and quantization.
• Familiarity with instruction sets, memory architectures, FPGA, DSP, and AI processors, along with hands-on experience on embedded platforms.
• Good analytical skills and a solid mathematical background.
• Experience in deep learning development, either scientifically or professionally.
• Team experience in software development, preferably within the automotive sector and with ADAS/AD technologies.
