The Challenge

We’re on the lookout for an Email Marketer to drive high-performing campaigns and automated flows that turn browsers into buyers across our Shopify stores. You'll own our entire email marketing function — from strategy and setup to creative execution and performance analysis.Your mission? Manage flows, launch campaigns, and increase revenue from email by at least 5% within your first 90 days. You’ll play a key role in how we communicate, convert, and retain our customers.

Early Success Milestones for this role

  • Email flow revenue reaches 10% of total store revenue within the first 90 days
  • Returning customer rate grows to 5% for selected stores
  • Timely testing and reporting on SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app notifications
  • Campaigns and flows are running consistently and optimized for performance
  • Clear reporting shared with stakeholders — what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next

    We would love to hear from you if…

    • You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing in the German market
    • You have proven experience with Klaviyo and Shopify
    • You have strong understanding of email automation, segmentation, and campaign strategy
    • You are skilled in creating both strategic and tactical email plans
    • You have solid copywriting ability and comfort working with creatives
    • You have a data-driven mindset; you know how to measure and improve performance
    • You have excellent written English and attention to detail
    • Can speak German (nice to have, but not a requirement)
    Couple of the notes about the role
    • This is not a salaried position. This is an Independent Contractor role.
    • You must be able to commit at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
    • We require everybody in the team to useHubstaff (https://hubstaff.com/) to track hours worked.

    Compensation

    We pay on an hourly basis— we’re open to reviewing rates based on experience and expertise.
