Qualifikationen

For the 2nd Theater Signal Brigade in our headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible. The 2nd Theater Signal Brigade is responsible for the telecommunications and IT system and associated network infrastructure in the entire European theater.

Employment: Full-time; permanent

Salary: €4.746,11 - €6.529,04 monthly tied to length in service

Your Tasks:

  • Developing of planning documents in accordance with German and American laws and regulations
  • Planning and examining of electrical installation
  • Processing of national and international projects in the field of switchboards, lighting, installation systems, USV systems and generators.
  • Calculation of low voltage networks
  • Cost determination and offer processing
  • Project development and quality control of planning documents from external offices
  • Participation in project development, planning and construction meetings
  • Duty Travel between. 10-15 % of the entire work time

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.)
  • Firm knowledge in areas such as NS switchboards, cable and network calculations of low voltage networks, lighting, installation systems, lighting protection equipment, grounding and EMV, low current systems (LAN networks, fire alarm systems, video surveillance, electro-acoustic systems, media technology, etc)
  • Knowledge in the preparation or review of bills of quantities would be desirable.
  • Fluent in English and German language (Language Proficiency Level C2)
  • Quick comprehension, mental flexibility, reliability, ability to team work
  • Experience in planning and/or planning review and quality control would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD or Microstation are optional.
  • Driver’s License Class B
