Electronic Technician (f/m/d)

For our Sample Environment and Characterisation group we are looking for an

Responsibilities:

• Design and build electronic components and assemblies
• Hardware design and programming of PLCs (Beckhoff) to control sample delivery devices
• Participate in high-level programming of control front-ends (Python)
• Ensure electrical safety in the group within the company’s electrical safety structure
• Support experts in repair and maintenance of lab devices in the user laboratories
• Support the group in simple mechanical work in the workshops
• Maintain a contact to specialist groups in electronics and software

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified technician or similar qualification with proven experience in mechatronic, electronic or equivalent (eg. German “Meister” or “staatlich geprüfter Techniker”)
• Experience with electronic lab devices such as function generators, oscilloscopes, amplifiers
• Knowledge in PLC programming (Beckhoff Automation)
• Knowledge in at least one programming language (Python, C++)
• Experience with vacuum components would be an asset
• Open and flexible mindset
