Qualifikationen

Electronic Engineer – Harness Design (m/f/d)

As an Electronic Engineer – Harness Design (m/w/d), you will take on technical responsibility within satellite projects, ensuring seamless electrical harness design and integration. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Your Tasks
  • Design electrical harnesses for satellites based on predefined architectures while ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Coordinate harness design with other disciplines, including 3D routing, integration, thermal analysis, structural development, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Plan and perform harness design analyses, such as Voltage Drop, Worst Case, and Derating analyses.
  • Prepare harness manufacturing documentation and integration procedures.
  • Support OHB System AG proposals by providing technical descriptions, identifying harness-related activities, and estimating efforts.
Your Qualifications
  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in harness design for space applications.
  • Strong knowledge of space-specific processes and applicable quality standards (ECSS, MIL) in harness design.
  • Experience with harness design software (e.g., Siemens CAPITAL Harness).
  • Proficiency in MS Project for resource planning and progress tracking.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a high level of resilience.
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
