Job Description

SolarCleano is an ambitious start-up based in Luxembourg. You will be part of a young and dynamic research and development team with responsibilities from day one with great freedom to manage your projects in a fast-paced environment. We specialize in Solar Panel Cleaning Robots that significantly increase the efficiency of their installations. This position is a balanced mix of workshop, fieldwork (international travel), and office work (analysis, R&D, reporting). Perfect for someone who is curious, resourceful, and motivated by diversity.

Required competence

  • Minimum bachelor's degree (bac+3) with a solid foundation in electricity, mechanics and automation. A technical focus on electromechanics in secondary or high school will be an advantage.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams
  • Proficiency in 3D design software such as Autodesk Inventor.
  • Mastery of the basics of design (The Industrial Draftsman's Guide or the FANCHON)
  • Know how to interpret an electrical diagram and carry out complete wiring
  • Based in Programming on TIA Portal (Siemens) will be an advantage.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Licence holder B

Daily activity

In the workshop

  • Mechanical Assembly, testing and commissioning of robots
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of technical processes.

In the field

  • Installation and deployment of robots at customer sites
  • User training
  • On-site diagnostics and troubleshooting of a robot.

In the office

  • Design and technical improvements of a robot or an accessory
  • Contribution of technical documents and manual updates
