AMETEK, Inc. in Donaueschingen is seeking an electrician (m/f/d) to join our industrial technology team. You will build, wire and commission control cabinets, PLCs and sensors for robot systems, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Aufgaben

• Electrical cabinet construction and wiring per specifications / E-plan.
• Integration and wiring of control cabinets in robot systems.
• Wiring and testing interfaces to customer systems.
• Installation, wiring and commissioning of PLC controls, bus systems, etc.
• Installation, wiring and commissioning of sensors, probes, motors, valves etc.
• Emergency stop interlinking and safety gate circuits commissioning.
• I/O test, function test and fault analysis on new and customer systems.
• Electrical installation and conversion of EGS systems at EGS or at the customer's site.
• Carrying out mechanical tasks arising during system wiring.

For our location in Donaueschingen we are currently looking for anElectrician (m/f/d).

Your area of responsibility:

• Control cabinet construction and wiring according to specifications / E-plan
• Integration and wiring of control cabinets in robot systems
• Wiring and testing of interfaces to customer systems
• Installation, wiring and commissioning of PLC controls, bus systems, etc.
• Installation, wiring and commissioning of sensors, probes, motors, valves etc.
• Installation, wiring and commissioning of emergency stop interlinking and safety gate circuits
• I/O test, function test, fault analysis on new and customer systems
• Electrical installation and conversion of EGS systems at EGS or at the customer's site
• Carrying out mechanical tasks that arise in the course of system wiring

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics /electrician/electronics technician or comparable qualification
• Enthusiasm for the latest robot technologies

• Willingness to travel
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
