Key Responsibilities of the Role:

1. Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met.
2. Liaise with the client and establish a trusting relationship to ensure future project opportunities.
3. Develop and administer quality control provisions; liaise on project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate.
4. Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation.
5. Champion Mercury's Safety implementation on site and at site Safety Leadership Teams.
6. Champion Mercury's Quality focus on site and implement 'Right First Time' measures.
7. Track and report at weekly client update meetings.
8. Liaise with the Commercial team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certs and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies.
9. Management of Mercury team on site and coordination of Internal resources regarding travel etc.
10. Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals.
11. Planning of all resources including labour, material and sub-contractors.
12. Manager and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.
13. Ensure processing of requisitions, generation of purchase orders and delivery to site is done in a timely manner.
14. Develop a constructible and detailed schedule with the project planner.
15. Must have a detailed knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems and equipment including UPS, STS, EPMS, BMS, Generators, Busbar systems and PDU's.
16. To understand the nature of working in a live environment and appreciate the importance of maintaining all client's system during construction phases.
17. Liaise with the client regarding the permitting of all works within the live environment and participate in the development of RAMS and relevant client permits.
18. A strong understanding of the COHE policies and to liaise with various vendors and subcontractors in relation to LOTO of their equipment.
19. All other duties associated with this role.

Essential Criteria for the Role:

1. A trade and/or relevant third qualification.
2. 5-10 years previous experience in Project Management.
3. Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large installation projects.
4. Experience dealing with IR issues.
5. Knowledge Health & Safety.
6. Experience in design and build.
7. Good Technical Knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
8. Excellent IT Skills.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
11. Ability to drive a large-scale project.
