A leading Design-Build company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Field Operations team at Naval Station Kings Bay in Georgia. The role involves project coordination, team collaboration, and ensuring compliance with electrical standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in electrical project management and strong communication skills.
Since 1996, RQC, LLC has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company, offering management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members working on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineer to join our Field Operations team at Naval Station Kings Bay in Georgia.
Local candidates will be given priority consideration.
Pay: $60k- $90k per year

Project Coordination: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Assistant Project Engineers (APEs), Project Engineers (PEs), Superintendents, and Project Managers (PMs) to ensure seamless project execution.
Documentation Oversight: Oversee project documentation, including daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and submittals.
Procurement Support: Assist in the buyout process, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services.
Estimating Assistance: Support the estimating team with accurate and timely estimates for project components.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with the Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 72, and other relevant standards.
Construction Management Tools: Utilize construction management software tools effectively to track project progress and manage resources.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with vendors, clients, and project team members to address issues and ensure project success.
Experience: Minimum of three years as an Electrician or Assistant Electrical Project Engineer with an electrical subcontractor or engineering firm.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction flow, electrical systems, and principles.
Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required (training can be provided).
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera P6, Oracle, BIM, Revit, and Bluebeam.
Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 72, and other relevant codes and standards.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
