2. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct tests to evaluate system performance, safety, and reliability. Diagnose and solve technical issues in hardware and electrical systems. Implement improvements based on test results and feedback.
3. Project Management: Plan and manage electrical projects from concept to completion. Estimate material costs, labor requirements, and timelines. Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and safety standards.
4. Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation of electrical systems and equipment. Develop maintenance schedules and procedures to prevent downtime. Inspect installations to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
5. Compliance and Safety: Ensure electrical designs adhere to local and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE). Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols. Work closely with regulatory bodies to obtain permits and approvals.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers. Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders and clients. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
7. Innovation and Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends (e.g., renewable energy, IoT). Research and develop energy-efficient and sustainable solutions. Participate in prototype development and patent filings when applicable.
