Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)

Our client is looking for Electrical Engineers to join the development of high-performance offshore converter platforms. These platforms play a crucial role in wind energy transmission and contribute significantly to the energy transition. The Electrical Engineers will be part of an innovative team and work on cutting-edge offshore energy solutions.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing complex electrical systems within offshore energy projects. Your key tasks include:

1. Managing and overseeing complex subassemblies in systems such as automation, power generation, and power distribution.
2. Technical management of construction tasks and control systems.
3. Coordination with procurement teams and technical negotiations with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
4. Supervising and mentoring designers and technical draftsmen.
5. Providing support and guidance to apprentices and interns.

As an Electrical Engineer, you need:

1. A degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Several years of experience in electrical engineering, experience in offshore projects is a must.
3. Solid CAD skills and experience in technical planning and design.
4. Proficient in English (spoken and written).
5. German language skills are highly desirable.
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with an independent and solution-oriented work style.
7. Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic work environment.

This is a remote opportunity from Europe, with occasional travelling to Germany. Freelance is possible.
