Electrical Engineer as Project Manager Digital IP / IC development (f/m/div)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage projects / sub-projects with medium complexity, risks, impact, and reach
• Manage a medium-sized project team with members outside the direct working environment
• Define and plan projects, implementing them transparently and successfully using appropriate milestones
• Develop and coordinate the specification of the IP to be developed with experts
• Ensure the quality, cost, and timely delivery of the developed IPs, continuously evaluating and anticipating risks with experts
• Build close relationships with user groups and ensure successful integration of developed components
• Contribute to our project leader community and develop yourself and others through intensive exchange
• Master and apply Infineon’s project management processes and tools confidently

Your Profile

You are "the engine" in our development projects, skillfully driving topics and meeting milestones and expectations. Your ability to inspire others and identify the right approach for each team member is essential. Your technical understanding helps mitigate potential issues and gain acceptance from developers and stakeholders.

You are best suited if you have:

• A degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, including 2 years of project leadership
• Good understanding of key steps in IC development
• Ability to manage and track project tasks, schedules, and resources using Infineon’s processes and tools (e.g., JIRA) confidently
• Project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMP) is desirable
• Excellent English skills and good German skills in written and spoken communication
