The Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the project's electrical installation works.

Working closely with the Electrical Project Manager, Construction Managers, Design Team and specialist subcontractors, you’ll ensure electrical packages are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

This is a site-based role offering exposure to one of the most technically demanding sectors within construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee electrical installation works across the project.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Support programme planning and short-term look-ahead scheduling.
• Assist with procurement, material management and technical approvals.
• Coordinate closely with CSA, Mechanical and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Resolve technical queries and provide engineering support to site teams.
• Monitor quality through inspections, testing and compliance with project specifications.
• Support commissioning, energisation and final project handover.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting.
• Promote the highest standards of health, safety and quality across all electrical activities.

About You

We're keen to speak with Electrical Engineers who have:

• Previous experience working for a main contractor or specialist MEP contractor.
• Experience delivering electrical packages on large construction projects.
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical project experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and building services installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification or degree.

Previous experience supporting commissioning activities or working within mission-critical environments will be viewed favourably.
