Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of project requirements, including design information, specifications and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate and manage technical submittals in line with requirements set by the Contracts and Project Managers.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Design Team and QS to monitor and report project progress.
- Ensure all project correspondence is clearly identified with the relevant job number.
- Raise, track and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring the RFI register remains accurate and up to date.
- Monitor and follow up on orders and deliveries of long-lead plant and equipment.
- Ensure the latest approved drawings and revisions are being used on site.
- Maintain redline drawings with accurate as-built information and issue updates to the design team.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to project coordination and progress discussions.
- Support the QS with variations, change management, supporting documentation and procurement activities.
- Manage relevant external correspondence and maintain clear project records.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with Building Regulations, relevant standards and Health & Safety requirements.
- Comply with all EHSQ policies, procedures and company requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and support commissioning, testing and project handover.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within the company’s Document Management System.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the successful delivery of the project.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of construction and engineering project requirements.
- Knowledge of tendering and procurement processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors and clients.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt to the changing demands of a fast-paced project environment.
