Electrical Design Engineer (m / f / d) – WSCAD / EPLAN

Location : Germany

Job Type : Contract 12 Months (Remote)

Start Date : Immediate

This client specialises in automation technology, engineering, and industrial services. They provide customized solutions and seamlessly coordinated services in the fields of process automation , control engineering , and industrial assembly , tailored to meet clients specific needs.

Language Requirements : German (very good), English (good)

Your Responsibilities :

• Develop product group-specific circuit diagrams based on system descriptions, system designs, or MIRs using E³ Series E-CAD software.
• Enter and manage material data within E³ circuit diagrams.
• Select and determine materials using predefined preference lists .
• Collaborate closely with system managers to ensure precise and efficient circuit diagram creation.
• Create and maintain design documentation , including :
• Parts lists
• Terminal diagrams
• Layout plans for enclosures
• Use EPLAN P8 to create comprehensive and industry-compliant electrical documentation.

Your Profile :

• Proven, in-depth knowledge of E³ Series and EPLAN P8 .
• Experience with other E-CAD tools such as Ruplan, Elcad or WSCAD is a plus.
• Solid expertise in electrical circuit diagram creation and electrical design.
• Very good command of German and a good command of English .
• Initial professional experience in the railway / railroad industry is highly desirable.
