This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre company that partners with the world’s largest technology firms to provide robust and sustainable operating infrastructure.

With significant investments secured, this data centre group is entering their next phase of growth and are looking to bring on board an Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities

• The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with the Pre-Development, Development, Engineering and Construction teams to support the development of data centres in Europe.
• The successful individual will be responsible for contributing to Europe-wide development and influencing the data centres.
• The role will capture the full development cycle from pre-development liaison with stakeholders, including planning authorities and utility companies, working closely with all areas of the Development and Construction teams.
• The position will also encompass due diligence, early-stage masterplans, concept designs, detailed design, stage management through to construction and handover.
• Management through to construction and handover. The successful hire will ideally be experienced in the full cycle of data centre delivery though for the right individual will provide training and work opportunities to grow into the role.

Requirements

• Previous experience in electrical or building services engineering and project management
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes
• Solid understanding of energy efficiency best practices and sustainability principles as they relate to data centre infrastructure
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Ability to support several projects simultaneously and effectively
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree, electrical or building services engineering, or technology-related discipline
