Zusammenfassung

BW Converting is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (f/m/d) in Neuwied, Germany to prepare electrical design documentation and project plans for production machinery as part of an international team. You will develop and maintain seamless project-related electrical documentation adhering to both national and international standards.

The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering and experience in electrical design and documentation. Proficiency in EPLAN P8 and good communication skills in German and English are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or Bachelor's in electrical engineering; or vocational training with technician further training.
• Experience in electrical design and technical documentation preparation.
• Proficiency in EPLAN P8 required.

Electrical Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation of complete electrical design documentation and project planning for production machinery as part of an international team
• Development and maintenance of project-related electrical documentation in accordance with national and international standards and guidelines
• Development and design of fluid and electrical schematics using EPLAN P8
• Early identification of potential project risks, assessment of their impact, and development of appropriate measures for effective risk minimization
• Acting as an interface between software development, mechanical design, commissioning, service, and suppliers
• Initiating and overseeing the procurement process for electrical components
• Structured and goal-oriented implementation of project requirements in accordance with specifications into technical solutions while adhering to the schedule
• Supporting technical coordination within projects

Your Qualifications

• Preferably a master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / automation engineering; alternatively, a completed vocational training program in the electrical engineering field with further training as a technician
• Experience in electrical design and the preparation of technical documentation
• Knowledge of and experience with relevant standards and safety regulations
• Proficiency in EPLAN P8
• Experience with ERP systems and common MS Office applications
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Team spirit and strong communication skill
