Job summary

DANOBAT-OVERBECK GmbH is located in Hessen and seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and plan electrical schematics for machine tools, using EPLAN P8 and SINUMERIK control systems. You will prepare hardware documentation, BOM transfer to ERP, and conduct safety assessments according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1.

Wir suchen eine qualifizierte Fachkraft mit fundierten Kenntnissen in Elektrotechnik, CAE-Software, und Deutsch- sowie Englischkenntnissen.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung in Elektrotechnik, ideal mit weiterer Qualifikation als Techniker, Meister oder gleichwertig.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der Elektrokonstruktion, insbesondere in der Automatisierungstechnik.
• Erfahrung mit CAE-Software (z. B. EPLAN, AutoCAD, WSCAD).
• Gute Kenntnisse der elektrotechnischen Schaltplangestaltung und technischer Dokumentation.
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office und weiteren gängigen Software-Tools.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse; weitere Sprachen von Vorteil.

Responsibilities

• Entwerfen, planen und Erstellen von elektrischen Schaltplänen für Maschinenwerkzeuge mit EPLAN P8.
• Elektrotechnische Planung basierend auf SINUMERIK ONE und SINUMERIK 840D; Einhaltung von Vorschriften und Spezifikationen.
• Auswahl benötigter Hardwarekomponenten.
• Erstellen von elektrischen Schaltplänen mit EPLAN.
• Dokumentation für Produktion (Schaltpläne, Stücklisten etc.).
• Übernahme von Stücklisten ins ERP-System.
• Durchführung von Performance-Level-Berechnungen nach DIN EN ISO 13849-1 mit SISTEMA.
• Erstellung von Risikobeurteilungen gemäß Maschinenrichtlinie 2006/42/EC und EN ISO 12100.
• Unterstützung von Lieferanten, Produktion und Einkauf mit technischen Fragestellungen.

Your Responsibilities

Design, plan and create electrical circuit diagrams for machine tools using EPLAN P8

Electrical planning and design of machine tools based on Siemens SINUMERIK ONE and SINUMERIK 840D control systems, in compliance with applicable regulations and specifications

Identify and select the required hardware components

Create electrical schematics using EPLAN

Prepare hardware documentation for production (circuit diagrams, parts lists, etc.)

Transfer bills of materials to the ERP system

Perform Performance Level calculations according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1 using SISTEMA

Prepare risk assessments in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EN ISO 12100

Support suppliers, production and purchasing departments with technical design-related questions

Requirements

Your Profile

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, ideally with further qualifications as a technician, master craftsman or equivalent

Solid knowledge of electrical design, particularly in automation technology

Experience with CAE software (e.g. EPLAN, AutoCAD, WSCAD)

Good knowledge of electrical schematic design and technical documentation

Confident use of MS Office and other common software tools

Excellent German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
