• Provide progress updates and communicate key issues to senior management.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices across project teams.

Job Description

The Electrical Construction Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all on-site construction activities across one or multiple projects, ensuring Electrical installations are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Construction Manager translates project objectives into site execution plans, manages site-based resources, and provides leadership to Site Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors.

The role focuses on programme delivery, technical awareness, workforce productivity, safety performance, quality compliance, commercial awareness and successful project handover.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate site construction activities from start to project completion.
• Manage Site Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (EHSQ) standards.
• Drive programme delivery through effective planning, resource management, and productivity monitoring.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and site logistics.
• Monitor quality, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while supporting commercial and operational objectives.
• Provide regular progress updates and communicate key project issues to senior management.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice across project teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Trade Background.
• Minimum 10 years experience in M&E construction and site management.
• Previous experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or leisure projects.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery objectives
