Zusammenfassung

TSL GmbH is seeking a skilled on-site Electrical construction lead to manage day-to-day activities and drive project delivery across UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe. This role focuses on safety, quality, and disciplined planning for complex live projects.

You will lead electrical subcontractors, coordinate with Project Managers and Design Teams, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifikationen

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in site-based construction roles.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or site related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and health & safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate site teams to deliver results.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • First Aid, SMSTS certification desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in delivering Data Centre’s projects is preferred but not mandatory.

Aufgaben

  • Manage day-to-day on-site Electrical construction activities to ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage all site personnel, in particular all Electrical subcontractors, and suppliers to drive productivity and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Take ownership of site logistics, health and safety, quality control, and environmental considerations.
  • Review construction programmes and lead the short-term planning process with the site team to ensure effective sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all temporary works are designed, implemented, and managed safely, inclusive of lifting of Electrical modules, OFCI and CFCI equipment.
  • Drive construction progress by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, delays, and inefficiencies.
  • Oversee site documentation and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project control systems.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Design Teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders through professional communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and ensure full compliance with all TSL safety, quality, and environmental procedures and policies.
  • Promote a positive culture of continuous improvement, mentoring junior site staff and supporting team development.
  • Manage the quality walk down process with our sub-contractors carrying out W2 walkdowns, and W3 walkdowns with our Client.
  • Assist the commissioning team with providing information and witnessing of pre-commissioning activities, i.e; Dead Testing, Live Testing, Torque Verification etc.
  • Provide updates to the project planning team with site progress and quantities, for example, meters or number of modules installed, terminations complete etc.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in site-based construction roles, a variety of site works and management roles would be preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or site related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and health & safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate site teams to deliver results.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction management software.
  • First Aid, SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Experience in delivering Data Centre’s projects is preferred but not mandatory.
